Spoiler: it was the best decision I’ve made in a long time.

Sleek, modern, and with enough warm lighting to make you feel like you’re in some magical culinary oasis. 

Now, the menu. Let me tell you, it’s not your regular dinner. It’s Peruvian food, but elevated to a whole new level. I started with the tiradito de atún (basically the love child of sushi and ceviche). Fresh tuna with a zesty lime kick, topped with crispy corn and served with a chili dressing that made my taste buds do a little happy dance. I don’t even like chili that much, but this? This was a whole different vibe.

For the main course, I went with the pescado a lo macho (think seafood heaven, but like, in a bold, macho way). Grilled fish with the most addictive sauce that had a nice little kick but wasn’t overpowering. Trust me, you’ll want to get a second helping, but be polite. After a few rounds of drinks (don’t judge me, I’m in Miami), we decided to take a little detour and hit up the Miami Riverwalk. We weren’t in a rush to go anywhere, so why not stroll along the river and catch more views of the city? Pro tip: Brickell by night? It’s extraordinary. The skyline reflects off the water like something straight out of a movie, and the soft lights make everything feel dreamlike. The night ended with a slow ride back to my hotel. In my mind, I was already planning the next trip to Miami, because when you’ve had a night this perfect, you have to do it again, right?
